Well, apparently I have to post up to show I am legit. So, hello.

Let me start with: I am a definite Nissan lover. I don't have a Z. I would love to have one, but currently I have to suffice with my little Sentra, since I don't have any more room in the driveway for another car.

I have referred another friend here, and I hope she gets registered soon. She just bought a beautiful 1990 Z. Unfortunately, however, the engine blew just after she had it for a week :( She is looking into whether to keep it and get a new engine, or sell the shell and cut her losses. I have, hopefully, talked her into keeping it.

Anyhow, probably more than you all wanted to know. Glad to be here. Hope to learn more about the z's.

I've seen shells go for $1000-$3500, with the average price around $2000 or so. That sucks she paid $7000 to have it blow up. She's gonna take a pretty hard loss on it selling the shell.

i have a 90 integra two door with center line rims tire are 205/40/17 and and extra jdm motor with skunk gears and transaxle. i would trade running car and motor.

The motor is blown. No compression. Did you really want it?

The poor thing is waffling. She went to pick it up today and she is so in love with it. Soooo, her thought is that she wouldn't want to sell the shell for any less than $4000, which I'm not certain she could get, even though it is in flawless shape except for 1 small area of rust starting on the pass. door.
She told me it is sixes either way, she takes a hard loss regarless, so she is thinking of getting a new engine and keeping the car. So if she does keep the car, she has decided to get the plate "sixes". LOL

I would LOVE to have a sunny! I also keep drooling over the 4wd conversion SE-R they did in VA (at least I think that was where it was). That would make an excellent winter car. I would love to see the pictures of your old one!

I've never even seen Terry's z? What year etc? Dan and I just went and looked at an old 85 - it really needed some TLC. :( But we are just looking for fun mostly, unless we find the one that we just can't pass up.

1982 280ZX Blue and silver

Bad - Truck with hitch backed into it. Hood and cone need replaced or fixed. But, found them for $75 at local junkyard.
Headliner needs replaced.
Needs e-brake cable.
Interior is just okay.

Good - less than 50k miles on rebuilt engine.
Fun to drive!
Other brakes are new.
Two new tires and Audreys new and wide tires and stock rims could go with it too.
T-tops.
All electronics work great...i.e. cruise control, mirrors, lights, her very sexy voice that even tells you when the fuel is low.

Best way to see it, is if you come to the luau on Friday, she will be there, or I will have Terry bring her to the car wash on Saturday.

Well, it appears as though the engine is shot on my friends z. :( The mechanic told my friend today that he can not rebuild and she needs a new engine. She is contemplating selling it.

I will get pictures as soon as I can. She told me to ask 4k as is.
