found this while looking fo the z32 height adjustment. looks like a good idea and not too tough........ even if it's just to clean them......

already did it. huge pita to readjust if you take the projector apart and take out the glare guard.....but looks sweet

so it was worthwhile in the end? sure looks 100x's better. but i wasn't the one busting my knuckles getting it done so you'll have to voice your opinion on whether or not it's worth it. also, any bits or info you'd care to add to it?

its a fairly simple project. it is just time consuming. if you do decide to take your projectors off there is silicone on each of the screws. be sure to scrape it all off before you try and loosen the screws if not you will strip them. i decided to paint my housings white as you can see from the pics i decided to use high heat engine enamel because of the fact that i have the hid bulbs. when you go to put your glass back on be careful not to clamp it down too tight the glass cracks fairly easy. i cracked mine luckily it was on the end and under the rubber so you cant tell.
