I haven't been able to log in for a month. I thought I must have really screwed up by not meeting up for "Fast and Furious" Did I miss Vegas too?? Anyway I'm glad to have my priviledges back and I'm needing some help. My car quit on me :( Here's the scoop- 1986 300zx turbo w/ 120K miles. Has spark to plugs and 70lbs of fuel pressure in the line but won't start. Tried unplugging W.O.T. switch- no luck. Also, when we sprayed starting fluid into a vaccum port it started.
I have run ECU self diagnosis first time got codes 11, 23, 24. Ran it again later and got 14, 24, 31. If anyone knows anything helpful like what todo or who to call i'm begging. You'd think I had child in the Huntsman center or something.

I was wondering where you had gone to. Glad to see you're back. We got hit with quite a bit of spam here on the new system, so the moderators went in and tightened things down, which may have been the problem. Anyways, sorry to hear the car isn't running right. Hurry and get it fixed for Vegas  Like Jason said, trip's in a week and a half. Friday April 24th to be exact. Hope to see ya there :)

Not quite sure what your problem is. It's obviously not getting gas even though there is pressure in the gas line. Possibly need some new injectors or harness? I know some of the Z31's had recalls on the injectors and harness.
I'm going to reiterate what aris_unlimited said. Sounds like injectors.

IDK... The injectors are are fairly new, two are brand new. Maybe the rail??? I'm still working on it. Iwon't be going to Vegas anyway. I've got to be in Portland this weekend. :( Thanks for the suggestions!

If you call the dealership, they can look up your VIN and tell you if the injector recall has been done on the car. If not, you get all new ones for free!!

a recall is a recall... that just means that they re-engineered a part to fix the ones that were made bad. kind of like a promise to get it fixed for free!

I've about isolated it to the harness or a bad ground somewhere. Hopefully I'll know today. It has had injectors replaced. I don't know if it was done on recall or not. I wonder if they would do the recall work regardless??? I picked up an '84 that I'll use to do a restoration and I've already checked and they will do the recall work on it. I watched the History Channel vid. It was awsome but, they skipped right over the Z31. :( Have a fun time in Vegas, I'll be thinking of you.

The recall is as solid as Nissan. However, it has taken Ken Garff of Orem 3 weeks to get the parts. They'll do my '85 this week and then I'll at least have a car to play in. As soon as I find an EFI wiring harness I believe the '86 will run. Anyone know where there is a good '87 or '87 5 speed turbo harness??? I've been scouring the country.
