are you going to do them at the same time? If not, you dont want to push a lot of boost. the stock internals can handle around 425 whp.

Your car will be awesome! Yeah, I have the GTM site saved (top quality stuff); they have the "500, 600 and 700" kits, did you get one of those? Their kits look great, plus they offer the various stages of built engines; even the one "stroker" (4.5L) TT" for a mere $30K! Good luck with all that you are doing to your Z. Randy:cool:

Take your time on the install. If you look at my350z.com there is a thread of folks that are FI with blown motors. The typical cause is waaaaay too much boost 15-16 lbs or a chimp installed it.
General consensus is you can run about 9lbs on stock internals and be fine. Sharif at forged has one he tracks at 15lbs that hasn't blown yet but it's not a DD. I'm running 8 1/2 lbs and get about 416 to the wheels with an APS kit, Robert runs the same kit and got about 430.
Much more than 9 and your starting to risk the motor. Toss in a few more grand and build it up, get a 650 hp monster! Hehe.

Could not agree more... I just spoke to Paul (Ultra Yellow 35th)down here the other day and he is pushing 16lbs with his vortech on stock block... Not his daily driver but he has a short block sitting in his garage waiting for the day, LOL! :)
psh. 16psi. I'm running 5psi and beat on it all day :)
44Kmiles on my ZR, almost 30K boosted :)
