Many of you know me...I've been around a while, just not as active as I'd like to be.
My name is Mike, and I am down to one Z...a 1990 Z32 n/a.
I used to have a 79 280ZX (my first Z), and an 83 280ZX Turbo.
The short story of the Z32: I bought it back in 2002 and 4 months later I spun a bearing. So I spent the next year rebuilding the engine and suspension. Haven't done anything to the body...and it needs some TLC... but the interior is still in great shape. Since the rebuild it has developed a couple of "issues" that I plan on having Ken help me with.
The suspension is KYB AGX adjustables (8 way rear/4 way front) with Eibach pro kit springs. TSW Wheels (Staggered)

Eventually I'll have Ken do one of his famous TT swaps for me.
Here are a few pics....I'm looking forward to the March 28th meet!

Good to see everyone... and welcome to all those that are new!

Jason,

I thought I just posted a response to you on this....but it is not showing up, so here we go again.

I got the paint at Pepboys (of all places). I don't remember the color, but it is an anodized- two step process. It has worn well over the last 5 years on the plastic parts but has not faired as well on the aluminum parts. I assume they need a little different prep. It would work really well on your timing covers. Also, in person the paint looks even better because of the anodization. Creates a metallic look.
On the throttle cable cover I ran painters masking tape down the strip that says V6 3000.
It just takes some time...gotta give each coat a little time to dry... and then the whole thing has to cure for 24 hrs.

Chris, I did get your email. I should be able to get on this later this week!

Wow...That would be off the charts!
I wanted to do white to match the car but wasn't sure how it would hold up. I think I'll try it next time.
