car looks hot. welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see its still brand new. you still have a tag hanging from the passenger side. When did you get it?

Btw. may be a little difficult to find a lot of parts for the car since its so new, but there will be. We have a thread that has a bunch of site on it for Z cars. I think its in the general section.

Look forward to meeting you

WOW! Nice ride man :!: :!:
I was wondering when we'd have our first 370 join the club, so congrats, you're the first!
Anyways, I'm T.J. and I'd just like to say welcome to the ZCOU. You missed a great meet last night, but we've got another coming up on the 28th. You can get the details in the ZCOU Official Events thread.
I really can't wait to see your car in person, and I hope you enjoy your time here on the forum. We've got a great group and we always love to have new faces.
Once again, welcome to the Z Club of Utah :)

bought it about 3 days ago and i couldn't be happier

and you are right it is very hard to find parts for it, i want to do a pro charger or some kind of forced induction but i will probably have to wait until the warranty is up so i don't void it

when do you want to build it?
well as soon as possible, but the only thing holding me up is the fact that it will void the warranty. I am debating on whether or not I wanna do that

jaspendlove
03-15-2009, 03:39 PM
that is a hard one. Also, not sure if you are aware, but its very costly to do a build

very nice. then you will have no problem. Keep an i out for APS. They make a great TT for the 350z and i am sure they will do one for the 370z also

sweet, i have also heard that the GTR r35 manifold and turbo setup is pretty easy bolt on to the 370

jaspendlove
03-15-2009, 03:45 PM
thats interesting. I would think that the 350z stuff would fit better. The 370z engine is like the new engines of the 350z from 06 and up. I think they did a couple of changes and bored out the cylinders to make it a 3.7.

sexy370z
03-15-2009, 03:48 PM
i am not sure, but i heard that its a completely redesigned motor and the gtr block is just bored out a little to make it 3.8 but all the parts that go in the GTR are better to handle the 24 lbs of stock boost

I'm really curious about the SyncroRev Match Tranny.
Does it live up to the hype, and does it do what it's supposed to as well as it should?

cool

sexy370z
03-15-2009, 05:25 PM
the syncro rev match is cool it just helps you shift by adjusting the rpms. shifts are sooo smooth. probably expands the life of the transmission as well

jaspendlove
03-15-2009, 05:49 PM
thats cool. i wonder if that tranny will bolt on a 350z?

Yeah, I've really wanted to test drive one of the 370's to see what it was all about

Even if it did, I believe its computer controlled, so you'd probably have to have a Z34 ECU to go along with it

Like Jason said, the APS TT system would be awesome on your 370. I hear you about the "warranty" issues; a built TT would wipe your warranty out. I'm considering a future "build"; possibly just a bad a$$ "NA" Z33 with a TT sometime after that, but I'm not ready to tear into my 16K mile engine and mess up my warranty just yet. For Jason: didn't the "HR" (VQ35HR) engines begin with the "07's? I know the dual intakes did. Randy 8-)
