This past Sunday officially kicked off the year of meets, cruises and get-togethers for the Z Club of Utah.
As the sun cleared the near by mountains, and brought relief to the very brisk morning air, the Nissan Z enthusiants set out for Downtown Salt Lake City, where they met before heading to Wendover for a great day of racing.

The crisp morning was filled with introductions, jokes, showing off of engines, coffee runs, and the ever-popular taco cart tacos as the club members and their cars began to arrive. Veteran members of the club were excited to meet new members Edgar (DiabloX1) & his head turning red 350Z, as well as Franck (Franck) and his gorgeous white G35C. After everyone had arrived, the club packed up and hit the road.

The 120 Mile long cruise through the west desert of Utah was nothing less than adventurous. The eye catching Nissans sped through white sand desert, with some of the more "spirited" members dropping gears and opening the throttle wide open on the long and inviting straight-aways.

The club arrived at the raceway in style, and ready to see some action. Races had already begun and the ever-growing line of cars to race began form. Sweet350Z, SS396, Suz, Nismo31 and Z31Dude quickly registered and jumped into the line up, ready to shred the track.

The day went on and after some great matches, the club got a suprise. Our AWOL Member Brody (600ZXTT) and his monster Z32 rolled into the parking lot, and soon into the race waiting line.

The ZCOU finished out the day with some more great matches, some close, and some with impossible odds just for fun.
After the races, the gang headed to the Wendover Nugget for some dinner before heading back through the desert, and home until next time.
