Just wanted to say hello, I'm new... Well, I've been on here before, just never registered haha.
Anyways, my name is Chris, I own 2 NA 1990 Nissan 300zx's and a 1992 240SX.
My first 300zx was a light blue/Azure blue, or just BJ0 Z32 with 142k, previously wrecked, with a short shifter, drill slotted rotors, front and rear strut towers, tint, Alpine Type-S audio, intake and an electric fan. It was my baby and my first car I owned, as well as bought on my own. The same month I found my second one, a 1990 Z32 that was the stock red color, amazingly clean, only 101k on it, stock to the bone, all it had was a new stereo.
Right now I am just fixing up the few things that have gone wrong with the red Z32, which I don't doubt a few of you have seen driving around anywhere from Ogden to West Valley. It has a bent fender from when the passenger wheel decided to leave my car on the freeway, and the a cracked front lip from all this "lovely" snow we got this past winter, the one other problem, the harmonic balancer is kinda, chipped, so the Alternator belt sometimes gets sliced up and then I have to replace it, done it about 16 times already... Other then that, she's a beauty. I try to keep her as clean as I can, and as original as I can.... The blue z however...
Is a mess. It has been since day one. The clutch was going out, the paint job on it was made up of different blue z cars haha, it was seriously cannibalistic on whatever came past it. It's a beast for sure. Long story short, I had a bad day and killed the motor. Let's just say it involved a cheating ex-girlfriend, welp, won't make that mistake again haha. Anyways, the blue z is currently sitting in my backyard, being pulled into pieces. It is going to receive an RB26DETT with a full body upgrade. I'm rebuilding it from the ground up, seriously. When I got her she was a mess, and still she's been my best companion, I decided she needs an update. I don't know how long it's going to take, but when it's done, I'm definitely going to celebrate lol.
Anyways, about me I guess... I'm 19 years old and never once touched a car until I bought my blue 300zx, since that day I've been diving into cars left and right, and learning as much as I possibly can through forums and other more experienced 300zx owners. I was planning on going to UTI Sacramento in August, but I don't think that plan is going to work out, so I'll be out here with my cars learning what I can. I like art, photography and food, lots of it. I have an amazing girlfriend named Jordan and she has been with me through all of the "adventures" I've gone through with the red Z32. I try to stop Z32 car drivers whenever I see them to take down a name and number, as well as car color and year.
I was interested in The Z Club of Utah since I was stopped one day myself, but when I came to the site it seemed kinda dead and filled with 350z, lol. Anyways, enough about me, just wanted to leave a "little" intro...
Later!
