ok so this is the second time ive had to do this  lol. luckaly it was a faulty part and not my stupidity lol.

second time went by really smooth, not too hard, just time consuming...

1) remove stereo, ash tray, etc and move to the side

http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0062_1.jpg

2) squeeze sides of glove box inwards to release from fixed position so that you can remove the whole compartment

3) remove glove box latch and screws

4) disconnect the connectors on the glove box and set glove box unit aside

5) carefully remove defrost grates to get the top mount screws and remove screws

http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0055_1.jpg

6) undo all the ECU connectors on both sides of the dash
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0056_1.jpg

7) remove panel underneath the steering wheel column and set piece aside
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0054_1.jpg

8) remove both steering column bolts to drop column to remove the dash
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0053_1.jpg

9) carefully remove dash and set aside
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0052_1.jpg

now things are nice and open so that you can start to dig into the air duct work lol

10) remove cross member (all screws are underneath)
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0051_1.jpg

11) then start unscrewing all of the duct work, but keep in mind that it could be a puzzle to put it all back together lol, i learned the hard way

http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0046_1.jpg

12) disconnect any addition connectors
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0047_1.jpg

13) remove all the bolts holding in the heater core head unit
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0045_1.jpg

14)remove this bracket between the AC and the heater cores
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0044_1.jpg

15) now that everything is all ready to go, remove the heater hoses in the engine bay
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0043_1.jpg

16)now carefully remove the head unit and remove heater core
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0041_1.jpg

17)this is your jumbled mess once everything is out lol
http://memoryracing.com/forum/userpix/111_DSCN0042_1.jpg

now make sure before you install the heater core, to pressure test it and check for leaks, my error the first time lol

once done, install in the reverse oreder of removal and you will be golden.

when everything is all put back in and ready to go, idle the car till operating temperature to allow the cooling system to bleed off, while the heater is blowing. if done correctly, heater will make you lady all toasty inside!

That looks very time consuming. The price you pay for heat.
