Well I think it's about time to introduce myself. I've been wanting to do an intro but would have liked to do it with some new pictures that I haven't taken. So you everyone gets the old ones!
I was directed her by jaspenlove a while back.
I got my Z last year in June I think. It was a quick buy from my brother in law. He was broke and need a car and I had a "working" car and some money. I picked this up on a trade of a 1980 Datsun 210 and 1500 bucks. I loved that Datusn though! It had been sitting in his garage for over 2 years. He never had money or time to work on it.
This was the day that I brought her home. Banged up and in need of some serious TLC. She didn't run at all. The car dolly had its way with the front bumper as you can see.

He installed the subs and amp after he bought it but after about 2 weeks the car broke. The custom sub box is for sale. I'm building a single sub system. If you interested PM me.
The problem with the car was that the turbos blew. They were pumping oil into the exhaust and making some hidious smoke before he finally parked it. New turbos means engine pull! My first engine pull and it turned over on the first try to start it!

Still lots of work to be done. I'm planning a overhaul and rebuild of the engine this summer. I'm slowly working on the interior as well.
