Ok we are off to a speedy start again this year :shock: Yup, Wendover Raceways opening day :!: Get your Z's and G's ready to race :o :mrgreen: Hope to have a good turn out as this is a rather large function and club representation is very important 8-)

Please be filled up and ready to go, in large groups gas stations are a pain in the arse :lol:

Date....................Sunday Mar. 8th
meeting place........Sears (754 S State St, SLC)
Time....................9am

What to bring....

1. umbrella/sunscreen
2. chairs
3. cooler with munchies and drinks
4. cameras
5. $$$ entrance fee $5.00 per person
6. $$$ race fee $10.00 (total $15.00 to race all day)

Do you know if the race fee is required at the time of arrival, or if we happened to "find" a race during the day, lol, could we pay mid afternoon and hit the track? I doubt I'll race myself, but am curious as to the rules. I definitely wanna try to come hang out and rep the club

1) Are you required to participate in a min/max number of races

Well it needs to be done regardless, especially if I'm gonna be out all summer doing meets. Assuming it was changed at exactly 60k and 120k, which I highly doubt, i'm 7500 miles over due. The 3 other main belts need done too. So like I said, either way, it'll be done, it'd just be piece of mind. I just gotta come up with the money. The kit is $442.00 from Z1

ah... well that seems a good deal for all of that, but honsetly you wont need some of those parts, just the belts, tensoner, water pump, and the t-stat.

the tensoner from carquest i can get for $158.16. i wouldnt pay that myself lol. lemme call some of my other parts dealers and see if i cant get it cheaper...

edit: so like there is no place that i can get a tensioner except the dealer, and that pretty pricey; i can get it for $199.96. but if the tensoner is good, you really wont need to replace it.

but let me know if you want to get some parts comming.

That'd be a bada$$ run. You really should come out man. Even if I don't race, I'm gonna go hang out and enjoy the races. I'm also gonna try and bring my video camera so I can record the races, and maybe get a "****pit view" if I end up racing

We were all going 85-90. I don't remember anyone even trying to pass us. He just wanted us to stay on the right and leave the passing lane open just in case.

Hang a right off the exit and go west down to, main or state st. (the main drag through Layon) and its on the right hand side

Everyone keeps telling me Im just paranoid but after spending so much money to fix my z33 I dont wanna risk breaking her again. The new carbon fiber hood has 10 vents and four of them sit exactly on top of the intake which has no cover. So if it rains it would basically rain right on my intake.
