With September's arrival and the recent chill in the air, we Z owners are starting to feel the winter season, and the hibernation of our cars, creep upon us. This often brings a touch of depression, but don't get glum quite yet. We've still got great events ahead and we need everyone to come out in full force!
We've had a great time at our last few meets, with a special emphasis on Peach Days '09. We had an awesome showing for the car show, with a few unexpected new friends, and we represented to the fullest. Our next event will be this Saturday. Dino and his fiancee Melanie have extended a special invitation to the members of ZCOU to celebrate their wedding this weekend. Following Dino's big day, R'enatoZ31 has made arrangements for a special ZCOU Lagoon Day on Sunday October 11th.
With the recent completion of various Z cars, and some unmeasured power waiting to be laid down on paper, we've had a recent addition to the events calander. October 24th will be our first official ZCOU Dyno Day. More details are to come soon, but make sure to RSVP and come test your car's limits. The more members to run, the cheaper the cost. Full details on all of the upcoming events can be found in the ZCOU Official Events Thread.
As always, a big welcome to the new members to the forums. We've had the addition of a rare Z32 Roadster, and several 370Z's and look forward to having you all out to our upcoming meets. We're in the tail end of the season, but next year will be even better than 2009, so make sure to stick around and enjoy another great year with the ZCOU.
A quick reminder for those new members and other registered users, ZCOU Official Membership gives you extended forum access, raffle tickets for our great giveaways at various meets, as well as a whole host of other perks. Details on membership for the rest of 2009 can be found at http://zclubofutah.com/membership.php (http://zclubofutah.com/forum/../membership.php) Membership runs from January 1st until December 31st.
Dues for 2010 Membership will begin being accepted at the annual ZCOU Christmas Party coming up in December, and will be $25.00 for the year. All club members will be reset to "Registered User" status on January 1st, 2010 so make to sure to get your dues in early to maintain "Official Membership"
