90 TT Lagging Issues

My 1990 Z is having problems with lagging of the motor the turbos sound like they are spooling but the second turbo is making a high pitched noise when it kicks on. It has effected the whole power of my car and doesnt even want to stay running at idle? Could this be cause the TT motor was swapped into my 2+2 wrong? Even Spark plugs maybe? If anyone has advice please help i could use all knowledge!

on the idle, check for a vacuum leak

Have checked the vaccuum nothing seems to be leaking? I have heard maybe could be the ignition coils or spark plugs?

I do know if the swap was not done right, you will run into a lot of issues. Is your car black?

Sure is black... I bought it from a guy in Glendale that had drove it back from Texas and it had just been sittin in his driveway. hope the sitting isn't what caused the problem!

Just regular premium pump gas. Thats a nice Z wish i would have found a white one

did you find it on ksl? Did you get it about 4 months ago? I saw one on there that was black. The guy said that it ran fine, but would overheat going up hills. Also he said that the a/c was taken out. Is that yours now?

I found it on Craigslist it still has the A/C but it Doesnt work... and it hasnt really been gettin hot or overheating on the gauge but my motor is really hot after running it? thought maybe cause the color of car the motor would be a little warmer

It ran pretty good when i got it but seems to be getting worse... I upgraded to a FMIC and Intake cause i thought it wasnt gettin proper airflow with the stock 2+2 Bumper but didnt fix the problem

No from Craigslist. It doesn't have trouble with overheating the motor is hot after driving it but i figured with the color it would make it a little warmer..It has A/c still but the lines leak so it doesnt work.

Ok. Then its not the one that i thought it was. If you need a good mechanic that knows these cars, call innovative automotive at 435-239-8116. I have my z32 there and he is rebuilding the engine. He knows these cars very well
